Whether you are a first-time parent or you are looking for a refresher, this 6-hour course can help you prepare for the childbirth process. Teaching covers pregnancy through delivery and immediate postpartum period.
We will focus on topics including preparing for your upcoming labor, review of the physiological labor process, medical interventions like pain management, induction and cesarean sections. Expectant mothers are encouraged to bring a support person along for the class.
*PLEASE NOTE: Monday classes are a two-part series. You only need to register and pay for the first class, then you must attend the Monday you sign up for and the following Monday. Saturday classes are one event. Registration is required to attend, and the class fee must be paid in advance. No cash payments will be accepted.
