Our welcoming maternity unit includes private labor and delivery suites where you can undergo labor, delivery and recovery in the same room. All rooms are designed with attractive decor and little luxuries to help make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Comfortable Suites and Expanded Facilities for Maternity Care
Cesarean surgical suites are also located on the unit. You can take comfort in the caring, skilled staff there to support you every step of the way.
Additionally, the Birthplace at Centennial Hills Hospital offers expanded maternity services in our new five-story tower. We’ve added new private labor and delivery suites, as well as new private mother-baby postpartum suites. Each suite offers a calm, comfortable environment, technologically advanced equipment and sweeping views of the Las Vegas Valley.

Family-Centered Services and In-Room Care for Your Newborn
We understand how important it is to have family with you. That’s why we’ve incorporated features to keep your loved ones comfortable. This includes in-room sleep accommodations for your spouse or birth partner. Siblings are welcome to visit their new baby brother or sister and be part of the family experience.
Also, your newborn can room in with you throughout your stay. A Halo® Bassinet Swivel Sleeper allows your baby to be close and easy to reach. This helps make cuddle and care time easier – especially after a caesarean section.
Choices and Accommodations for Labor and Birth
At the Birthplace, we invite you to work with your healthcare provider to decide on a birth plan that’s best for you. This may include a cesarean delivery in one of our operating suites. Dedicated staff are there to provide specialized care in a comfortable and calm environment.
If you’re planning a vaginal birth, we can provide anesthesia services if requested for pain relief. We also offer water laboring tubs as an option to help support a vaginal delivery without medication. Our caring team is here to support you through all phases of labor.
Midwives to Support Pregnancy and Childbirth
Midwives at Centennial Hills Hospital are trained healthcare professionals who provide care to women during pregnancy and delivery. They can help enhance the relationship between a woman and her doctors, nurses, and other caregivers. Some women find that working with a midwife can reduce the length of labor and their need for pain medication.

Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
In the event your baby needs specialized care, we offer a Level III NICU. This means that a dedicated and skilled team is available to provide a high level of care and advanced technology. Baby suites are available, including rooms for twins and triplets.
We understand that you will want to see your baby as much as possible. That’s why we offer secure NICVIEW® livestreaming cameras that allow you to stay connected in real time, 24/7 via your preferred device. This provides a chance for you to see your baby any time, from anywhere, when you are not in the NICU in person.
New-Mommy Concierge Program
To help new mothers celebrate and enjoy this special time in life, we feature a New-Mommy Concierge Program. This includes:

- Private consultation with lactation consultants
Lactation Care to Help with Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding your baby can be a wonderful experience but also challenging at first. To help you with this, lactation consultants are available on-site. They can answer your questions and provide the extra support you need.
- Centennial Hills Hospital has been recognized for excellence in lactation care by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®) and International Lactation Consultant Association® (ILCA®). The hospital is the only hospital in Southern Nevada, and one of just two hospitals in the state, to receive the award.
- The International Board Certified Lactation Consultant® (IBCLC®) Care Award was given to Centennial Hills Hospital in recognition for its staff of professionals who hold the IBCLC certification. The award also recognizes the hospital for providing a lactation program that is available five to seven days a week for breastfeeding families.
Meet the Team
Our caring and skilled team is ready around the clock to care for you and your baby. This includes dedicated nurses to provide individualized support before, during and after your baby is born.
Also, a laborist (obstetrician) is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist with deliveries. Additionally, specialists in our Level III NICU are trained and equipped to provide advanced, specialized care, if needed.
