MidwifeMothers-to-be now have a new option for obstetrical care at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center: Midwifery.

Midwives at Centennial Hills Hospital are trained healthcare professionals who provide care to women during pregnancy and delivery. They can help enhance the relationship between a woman and her doctors, nurses and other caregivers.

A midwife will encourage women to actively participate in the birthing process, and can provide educational and emotional support to both mothers and their families. In many cases, working with a midwife can reduce the length of labor and the mother's need for pain medication.
