Emergency Department

ER

Medical emergencies can be difficult and stressful times for patients and their families. That’s why the Emergency Department at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center features a comfortable, spacious environment and a family-centered approach to emergency medical care. There’s even a special section for kids that features a colorful decor to help distract young patients from their medical emergencies.

Doctors, nurses, therapists and technicians work as a team in the Emergency Department to provide effective and efficient care for patients with minor ailments to those with more serious injuries and illnesses.

A More Efficient ED

Our emergency department has added an ED Lobby Tech during peak hours. The Lobby Tech greets each new patient, and if the triage nurse is busy, can obtain vital signs and help you get more comfortable (e.g., with ice packs, bandages, blankets). The ED Lobby Tech also helps keep patients and visitors informed.

This new approach helps minimize wait times and improves each customer's experience in the Emergency Department.
